So Long Elder Day

Today my brother Derek entered the MTC. He will be serving in the Sweden, Stockholm mission for the next two years. (Read more here)

The Toys Are Back In Town

Two weeks ago we took the kids to Disney on Ice. Austin only took the older two in November and with the theme being Toy Story 3 and Austin getting a discount through his work, we decided to all go since we all love Woody and Buzz around here. (Read more here)

Disney On Ice

Disney on Ice is one of those magical things that I have always enjoyed.  Watching Disney movies and TV shows is fun in its own right, and I have my favorites, but when you can go to an arena and have the shows come to life with professional skaters, it takes on a whole new level. (Read more here)

Christmas Break Shinnanigans

Whose bright idea was it to have a 2 week Christmas break? And one full week before Christmas! All I have to report on the first week was that the kids were going crazy and so was I. It was too cold to do anything outside and we didn't have snow. And wouldn't you know since Christmas, it's been in the 50's and I'm wondering if we should bust out the shorts and flip-flops.  Read more (here)
